    dietary supplements like hoodia

Does anyone use dietary supplements? I'm curious if the pathways to weight loss are affected by the use of say hoodia, green tea, etc. I do take my chromium picolinate, centrum silver and fish oil. I don't see carb info on any of these supplements. I also wanted to say that my weight loss has been steady since I came off a stall during induction. I'm on extended induction now and I'm very pleased that I stayed with it.

Not to tag onto your question, but I too have been curioius about this, and others. I have a coworker that just started, and she was going to continue to finish a bottle of trimspa tablets..I wasn't sure what to tell her, because I don't know if it is bad or not?

Yeah, I know. I'm sure people will say if you're losing weight without them, why bother? But I was just curious if anyone else had success with them.

Hoodia is supposed to be an appetite suppressant - why use this when Atkins does this anyway - save your money!

              Hi all,

I bought hoodia and it actually does more like help boost metbolism, etc.
I dont see the harm in taking it if you want but with this diet you really don't need it. I am not taking the stuff I bought

                Re: dietary supplements like hoodia

I used Hoodia Gordonii (the real stuff, lab tested, most other Hoodia on the market is made from the wrong part of the plant - to keep the cost down and thus it is not effective) for the first three days because I was very hungry as I cut my calorie consumption from about 2500 to 1200 for Induction. After the first three days I was never hungry on the Atkins diet so the Hoodia is still sitting in my drawer.
