    Hey all.
I know I have not been like I have befour. I have had somestress at home with the subby as well some work stress. So it has not been the best few weeks. I have tryed to keep up with the diet. Some days I was to upset to even eat I tryed to make my self but it was just not goind down. Things are back on track now. So that makes me feel a hole lot better.

I have came across one problem. Well I find out today I have to go to New Jersery for work for 5 day. Great what now. Is there anything in the way or bars or anthing anyone can think of that I can take with me.

Ok so in my 3 weeks of Atkins I lost 15 pounds all togeather. 12 pounds the first two weeks. Last week I lost 3 more pounds. Is it normal to slow down like that? Oh what else can I drink other then water I need something diffrent. What about Airzona Decaf-Diet Green Tea with Ginseng made with splenda?
Thanks for any one who posts.

    Re: some questions

Yes its perfectly normal to slow down!

NO BARS!!! bars are the devil and they will cause you to stall!!

Surely theres places you can go in NJ where you can get safe food! one of the things i miss about being in NJ is all the salad places i could go to, there aint any where i live in England!

The thing to do is just get back on track, you say youre there, so think positive and look forward to the new slim you!

thanks for the post. Well I know that the bars that are made by atkins are not good for the diet I was just wodnering if there was anything else out there that was Ok for induction. As for NJ we are going to be at a conference center the whole time we are there well other then the hotel so that makes me a bit nervous. If any one can sugguset anything please let me know I leave tomorrow UGH

        Re: some questions

Cheese sticks, celery sticks, pepperoni. All are portable ( you could take them in little baggies in your purse) and they will keep too (don't need refridgeration.) That Arizona decaf sounds ok, just don't go crazy with it. A couple a day would be fine, I think. Also, Diet Rite is decaf, zero carbs made with Splenda, one or two would be o.k. If it stalls you, then leave them alone.

          Re: some questions

If the Adkins bars are not ok on extended induction, what about the Slimfast drinks that are 2 net carbs?

            Re: some questions

You would need to see what is in them and make sure all the ingredients are on the allowed list of foods.

I tried to google for the ingredients and came across info that they contain milk, corn starch and sugar, so if that is the case, then NO they would not be allowed on induction.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

              Hey all,
Thanks for the posts. Well that was a hard 5 days. up early on my feet all day then we would not get back to the hotel till 10 and by that time I wasso tired to work out so that really sucked. As for eating I did really well a lot of salads and fish for dinner with veggies or steak and veggies. Only thing that sucked was I didn't lose any weight. So I am not in the best of moods right now.

Thank you all for you're posts

                Re: some questions

Congratulations on sticking to your eating plan while away
Dont let yourself get too down about not showing any weightloss over that time, you probably didnt manage to drink all the water you could have if at home, plus the added stress of travelling and being on unfamiliar territory as well as not being able to rest have maybe made you retain water.
You might find you experience a lovely 'woosh' of a few pounds once you are back into your normal routine.

                Keep up the good work
