  • Here I go again

Okay it's Monday and I've decided to give Atkins another try. I started induction a couple of weeks ago and lost 4 pounds in 6 days and then let myself cheat. After that, I was so frustrated with myself, I went back to the way I was eating. I'm not doing that again. I am giving myself a fresh start, a clean slate and allowing myself to make a better life for me. Wish me luck!

You can do it! What helps me is to have a plan for the week.. Foods that I am going to fix.. Places that I might eat out... It helps to get you started..

You can do it! What is working for me is planning the next day as I fall asleep. So tonight I will decide what I will eat tomorrow for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I also track everything I eat - I have a word document that I leave open on my computer and put in everything as I eat it. Something new I am trying today is, filling it out first thing in the morning. I'm hoping if my day's food is already "set in stone" I'll stick to it and eat better.

      GOOD LUCK!!

Welcome! Sandy is so right. Make a plan to put the new WOE into your unique life-style. Write out the foods, the exercise routine, why you want to lose, what you'll do if meet temptations, negativity and periods of low-self esteem. Writing out the solutions before the obstacles happen help give you alternative ways to deal with them without eating or giving up.

We're happy to have you join us. Get active in the journals, challenges, forums and meet people who are also making changes to reach their goals. Going it alone is hard, making friends and sharing the journey makes it a lot easier and enjoyable.

BEST WISHES....keep posting and let us know how you are doing.
