i have been using real butter with my cooking, but i was looking at a label from shed's spead country crock that said it had 0 carbs. can i use these types of products, or do i need to stick to real butter. i was wondering because real butter is more expensive. thanks

Re: butter question
Real. Get the real stuff because it doesn't have the bad fats listed in it as do the margarines. I use to by the Country Crock, too, until I read more about what Dr. A says in the book about staying away from the margarines, and from my biology teacher of how the sprays we use so frequently have syllacone (sp?)...plastic in them. Yep. Tis better to go with the real stuff. Besides...it tastes soooo much better.

Re: butter question
Try buying butter when it's on sale. I buy 6-8 pounds of it when it's cheap, and then keep it in the fridge or freeze it until I can use it. Once you get used to the taste of real butter, nothing else will do!
