Re: I am so sick of cardio...
Can you change your routine and do different cardio exercising from your usual?
Maybe find a different class or activity to make it more challenging and interesting?Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Re: I am so sick of cardio...
You certainly could be overtraining if you are sick of it. Take a day off or find a new cardio activity. Here are the symptoms of overtraining:
Common warning signs of overtraining include:
- Washed-out feeling, tired, drained, lack of energy
- Mild leg soreness, general achiness
- Pain in muscles and joints
- Sudden drop in performance
- Insomnia
- Headaches
- Decreased immunity (increased number of colds, and sore throats)
- Decrease in training capacity / intensity
- Moodiness and irritability
- Depression
- Loss of enthusiasm for the sport
- Decreased appetite
- Increased incidence of injuries. zSB(3,3)
- A compulsive need to exercise
There is nothing wrong with taking a number of rest days to find your legs or motivation again. Stopping cardio forever because you reached goal, however, seems like pathway back to our former selves.Kent - 35-M-6'4"

Re: I am so sick of cardio...
I would not recommend doing this. Taking 2-3 days off for rest is one thing, cutting it for more than a week is entirely different. If you look at any body building, strength training site, they ALL whine about cardio, but they still do it.
What they do is EFFICIENT cardio so that they aren't out there like a gerbil on a wheel for hours. It's not necessary (according to them). Body for Life recommends only 4 days a week of cardio for only 20 minutes per session. But let me tell ya...that cardio is INTENSE! It's High Intensity Interval Training. The research says that HIIT is great for weight loss, but this stuff is INTENSE. Hence, the name.
My recommendation to you is to research HIIT and not cut out cardio.~Joy
