  • Soy???

I've heard y'all say no soy in induction, but the Atkins breakfast bars and the chocolate/peanut butter bars say they are induction friendly and they both contain soy. Am I missing something here? Just curious.

    Re: Soy???

The bars and shakes are not allowed on induction because they contain ingredients like nuts, milk, and soy, which are not legal until particular rungs of OWL. The bars are made by Atkins Nutritionals, a business, and they want to make money, not make you healthier. It really is false advertising--the wrapper/box and Atkins website say the bars and shakes are legal, but if you check the ingredients, they are NOT legal.

Soy products, with the exception of tofu, are not allowed until Rung 6 of OWL. Tofu is allowed because it is considered a soy cheese.
