I'm on extended Induction - I started at the end of March, and have lost 25 lbs. so far. I feel great and not craving any bad stuff! Instead of thinking of this as a "diet" I've convinced myself that this is my new way to eat.
This weekend, I'm headed to Italy for a 2-week vacation, traveling around the country. I know there'll be good healthy food to eat, but I'm worried about the potential temptation of bread, gelato, pasta, pizza, etc. I will normally turn down all those foods, but I feel like "when in Rome".... I know that I'll WANT to try those things just to fully relish the experience.
Help me out with some advice and support here - I can (and WILL) be strong, but it's always nice to hear others' suggestions.
FYI: Since eating low-carb, I make a point to avoid Italian food or eateries, knowing that they tend to be full of high carb items.
I know....I don't mean to be whiny when I'm taking such a fantastic trip, but that's how important eating low-carb has become to me....
Thanks in advance for any advice!
