  • Slow weight loss this time

    Ok it's been 3 weeks on the Extended Induction and I've only lost 1.5 lbs this week. Doesn't make much sense because I cut out the Atkins bar that I was eating for breakfast before I found out that this is not recommended. I also worked out 3 times this week on the Elliptical for 30 mins and 1.5 hrs of tennis (singles) Saturday morning. I feel thinner...my husband noticed...so I guess that's good. I'm not giving up but I'd just like to see it move a little faster this week.
    I have been drinking diet pepsi's and crystal light. Is this not recommended? I'm also drinking lots of water. Any suggestions would be great.

    I feel your pain. This is day 17 for me and I'm still at my 6 lbs lost from induction. But since I feel so much better I am not as concerned.

    It sounds like you may be replacing the fat with muscle with all that activity so that's not a bad thing at all! and definitely if people are noticing you've lost that's good. I haven't had any of those comments and I've lost 11 lbs total (since before atkins and now). So keep it up!

      Check your measurements and enjoy the feeling of feeling good

      As for the diet pepsi's and crystal light....you're only allowed 3 servings max a day of Splenda (or the like), and if memory serves me right, those are some great weight stallers for some folks. Just a suggestion, but perhaps you can ditch both and make sure you're enjoying fresh, clean water throughout the day
