  • Scale Frequency?

    How often does everyone weigh themselves? I was thinking about doing it only once a month. Is there anything wrong with that and why?

    I try to weigh myself every 2 weeks but usually after a couple days can't take it anymore and end up weighing myself. I don't see anything wrong with weighing only once a month...if you can wait that long! Its really the inches that matter anyways.

      (I'm aiming for twice a month, so far so good. But pretty soon someone is going to have to literally hide that scale from me, I just know it!)

        I swore I'd only weigh once a week, but sometimes Its a little more. I was gettin discouraged not seeing major pounds dropped, so I took the advice of some others on here and quit stressing over the scale. As long as my inches continue to go down, im happy with that!

          I would say that is a great idea, though you may wish to up the frequency to 2 weeks when you are zooming in on your CCLL.

          I am a totaly scale addict and it is such a bad idea. If you think you will have problems with this I would recommend not buying a scale but using one in a reliable shop.

            I agree with that Baarb, I started using the scale at the Kmart down the street, because the digital one I bought seemed a little inconsistent, besides plopping out 50 cents a pop helps to limit the number of weigh ins.

              I weigh every day I love to see a new number,even if it point something. If nothing changes for a few days it makes me try harder more exercise or more water less soda. I also have found as long as I eat every four hours or so I am not tempted by cravings. When I have tried this WOE before I don't think I ate enough and so I would give into temptations. But so far so good!!
