  • Extended Induction and No more weight lost

    Hi,
Just wondering what I am doing wrong, I am now on the extended induction having completed my 14 day induction and so far have lost no more weight, I am sticking to the recommended carbs and exercising for up to 45 minutes religiously every day, although I do feel better, and I am satisfied with what I am having. I am frustrated by the fact my body just isn't giving up the weight. I am in ketosis as i check every few days or so, just to make sure.
What am I doing wrong guys????

Please help ! I feel like giving up.

If you're doing the program the way it's supposed to be done then you needn't worry. You'll very likely start losing again soon. It's very common for there to be a pause in weight loss after the first couple of weeks. Your body needs to catch up and to understand you're serious. Hang in there!

The other thing is... do your clothes feel any looser? Or... if you measured at the start, is there a difference in inches? Often we can lose inches before the lbs catch up, and it's inches that count!

Give it a bit longer, and if you're still worried, try posting a menu or two in the "Review my Menu" forum. You'll get lots of advice there and might find that there's just a little thing that needs tweaking.

        measure measure measure.....

so much better than weighing all the time....I have seen a dramatic loss in inches during the Atkins Attack challange, that the weightloss-non/weighloss won't bother me soo much.

        hang in there~!
So....I fell off the band wagon...BUT I'M BACK!!! More Ready than ever!

i've been on atkins 16 weeks now i've had stalls along the way. Not so sure how common it is. I lost the most weeks 1-3 ....week 4 and after i've lost in weird patterens here and there. So far about 32-35 pound loss. What matters to me and keeps me on atkins is the energy and feeling good. It is so important to exercise!. I go thru the no loss thing then eventually i'll drop a few pounds but, i figure this really IS A WAY OF life not a diet.

Went totally off atkins now i'm right back where I started in 2007. 75 POUNDS were lost and gained BACK AUGH.
