  • Sero Bars 1.5 net carbs

    Hi Guys,
as I am not a big breakfast hand, and I am a bit fed up having eggs is it ok for me to have one of these low carb bars? made by Sero - Caramel and Peanut, they advise that they contain 1.5 net carbs, is this ok to have them on extended induction? has anyone else tried them, they are quite nice, I found them on the low carb store.

Kindest Regards and best wishes to all.

    Helen,

Stick with real foods. They are so much better in the long run, bars often stall people. Don't feel that you have to have eggs for breakfast. You can have anything. I often have the rollups or bacon and mushrooms.

I probably have eggs for breakfast 2 times a week. I would never ever consider having one of the bars as a breakfast food. Take it from me (3.5 years of Atkins experience), those bars spell t-r-o-u-b-l-e......

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Some people stall or get cravings from bars and others don't. When I first started Atkins I was able to lose just fine on bars but they gave me cravings. Now I only use bars if I'm on a hike because they are easy to transport. My advice is to just pay attention to your body, if you notice you're weight loss slow down or stop, cut out the bars. If you're doing fine, go ahead.
