    Hello Dan,

I would have to say no cause corn syrup is just sugar.

Can you list the full ingredients for us? And also list the %ages of the whole nutritional value panel?

        Re: Corn Syrup...

It could be that the amount of corn syrup is so small as to be negligible. My dad is diabetic and was told he could eat anything that didn't list sugar of any form in the first 3 ingredients.

Of course, it's best if you can avoid it, all together.

            Re: Corn Syrup...

Well with 2 types of sugar (corn syrup plus dextrose) I would avoid them.

According to a hidden carbs calculator here http://www.lowcarb.ca/low-carb-tools/hidden_carbs.html the numbers you quoted reveal 1.72 carbohydrates - not Zero!!
            Calculated Information

            Carbohydrates factor 3.84063
            Fat factor 8.82671
            Protein factor 4.28361

            Actual Carb count 1.72 g
            Difference by weight 1.72 g

The manufacturers are allowed to say zero carbs if the count is less than 0.5 carbs - so one serving could have 0.49999999 carbs even if you ignore the 'hidden carbs theory'.
I would count 0.5 carbs per serving at the least if you do decide to eat them.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

              Re: Corn Syrup...

I'm in ny and almost impossible to find anything w/out some form of dextrose or cornsyrup, ALL cold meat has them. I usually just eat it if it lists sugar as 0, but only 1 serving.
