    Re: Ladies?

yes, i do. i think just about everyone does. i always stay off the scale during my TOM. it's mostly water weight though.

a little advice....stop weighing yourself everyday. it will make you crazy. it's much better if you can stay off the scale as long as possible. myself, i limit getting on the scale to once a week, usually on monday's, but this time(my 3rd time around) i didn't start induction until thursday. so i'll either do a short week and stick to monday or wait until thursday, i haven't decided yet.
anyways, it's so much better not to be on the scale everyday because weight can flucuate up and down. it can become a real downer to see you lost a couple lbs one day and then back up 3 lbs the next.

once before i was really brave, and went like a month w/o weighing myself. but once a week i'd try on an outfit i couldn't wear when i started this woe, and each week see if it fits better. that's a much more satisfying feeling for me than seeing the scales move. especially when the outfit finally fits.

sorry for such a long post....
    good luck to you

Oh you read it before I edited! Thanks so much for the quick reply. I too have done Atkins more than once and I completely agree that trying on outfits is a much better way to gauge progress on this woe. I weigh once a week as well but I'll try your advice and see if I can go longer Thanks again!
