  • I NEED HELP!! 3 Weeks on induction and I'm stuck.

My starting weight was 216 I went down to 203. Then I went up to 207 and now I'm stuck at 205. I don't know whats the problem I'm doing everything right and I'm not losing any more weight. I have to stay on induction because I am far away from my goal, which is 115. (I think that is the right weight for my height. 5'2) I have been drinking water and walking on my treadmill. My food portions aren't big. I eat 3 times a day. Can someone please give me some advice!!!!!!!

Cheese and diet cola stalled me real bad, just a suggestion ice726. Are you drinking about 90 ounces of water?

This could just be what we call PISS (!): Post Induction Stall Syndrome. It happens to a lot of people after the first losses. It seems the body has to pause and come to terms with the new status quo. It has to get used to the idea that you're serious about losing weight. Losses usually start up again in a short while. It's well worth hanging in there for a bit longer, and not panicking.

If, after a while, you still aren't losing, then try posting a menu or two in the Review my Menu forum. Often it's only a little thing that needs tweaking for losses to start up again.

You could also try moving to OWL (ongoing weight loss) shortly. It could jump start your losses again. Many people find that they lose just as well in OWL and often, particularly on the first rung, they lose more.

Congratulations on your lbs shed so far!

Thanks for the advice, I'll try drinking more water and see if that works.
