    Hello all

    Bit concerned, that after 20 years of being hungry, on a fairly regular basis.
    I now find on day 5 of a clean induction, I have absolutely no apetite.
    I was having eggs and bacon for breakfast,cheese for lunch and vegetables with meat for dinner.

    Now I am finding it hard to reach 20 carbs and eat what I should be eating

    I am also taking the vitamins, not drinking any low cal rubbish, just decaf coffee to which I've made myself add cream.

    Any ideas?

    Your in Ketosis !!! Amaizing isnt it , Are you getting your energy back too ?? Thats exactly what happened to me

    Just make sure you eat enough though, cause if you dont, your body will go into starvation mode and you will stall.

      I'll make sure I eat more from today.

      Never thought I would hear those words come from me!

      I've had more energy since day 2,my sinus affliction has cleared up,my skin seems healthier, I'm sleeping better...I am liking the side effects.

        You'll go through stages with Atkins. There will be times you aren't at all hungry and other times you may have cravings. The key is to plan and have acceptable snacks or foods around so that you don't get caught turning to something unacceptable.

        Sounds like you are right where you are supposed to be!

          not hungry...

          I am on an extended induction... I've lost 21 lbs. os far, how it scares me. I don't have an appetite for anything-- I know that I'm not susposed to go 6 hours between meals....But sometines it happens. I just can't eat or don't remember to eat at a certain time. I'm affraid that I'll go into starvation mode if I continue this way.....

          Any advise would be greatlyappreciated .

            I have those days.... I have to force myself to eat oneday, and then the next I cant stop shoveling food in my mouth.

            Ya take the good with the bad I guess =o)

              Yeper...ketosis...gotta love it. Today i ate alot which is not normal for me. I ate for breakfast a scrambled egg with cheese and for lunch i had grilled chicken breast, cabbage, greenbeans and a side salad....that's alot of dang food!

                Your body goes in cycles on this woe. Some days you can hardly bring yourself to eat, other days, you're hungry. After awhile, you get used to it. I think it's because we are eating fat and fat takes longer to digest and gives the feeling of fullness.

                  Is it true tha if you don't eat enough, you will not lose? Maybe that is my problem. My typical day consists of piece of quiche in the am, a handful of peanuts as a snack, lunch a low carb frozen dinner, 6 carbs, supper, a hamburger, or a piece of chicken, maybe a salad if I feel like one and for snack a sugar free popsicle.and of course my water.
