My first goal article of clothing is a XXL golf shirt that was my high school's team shirt my junior year. It was just a little snug in high school, and really tight now. I wear 3X or 4X shirts right now, so I don't have to lose too much to wear that shirt again, and I figure it will be a nice mini goal shirt.Male, age 21, 400/400/200

Mini-goals are a GREAT idea! I did that when I started, too. I needed something to encourage me quickly. I used to reward myself with food, so getting to wear that new piece of clothing is a MUCH better way to go.
You'll be wearing that shirt in no time!!Started 7/14/09

goal clothes or not
I don't have goal clothes... have been overweight for over twenty years so things I wore as a teenager would not be appropriate anymore. I have never been all that keen on clothes in a decorative sense and wear them for comfort as opposed to looking good. I have very low self-esteem and believe myself to look hideous regardless of what other people say about me.
Losing all the weight I want to lose would make me around eight stone or so, still heavier than I technically should be but much better than I have been in over twenty years.
I also find that a lot of clothes are made for very very skinny women or girls who are much taller than I am. Nice clothes that are affordable for a woman who is 4'7" and a UK size 18 are not easy to come by.

Oh do i ever!!!!!!!!
I have always loved high fashion...you know the crazy stuff that most people think is just way to materialistic...but it's my thing! and my mother promised to take me a a shopping spree to get some nice things once if i can stay at around my goal for a month!!!!! well that really REALLY far way so i guess for right now....it's a the medium scooter jacket from banana republic that was too small for me last summer and now fits and zips but it still looks a tiny bit too snug to be hot (thats for my first mini-goal in march) then my easter dress (a jcrew dress that i bought years ago that zips up now with out any fuss!!!...but i just need to tone up a bit before it'll look good) and then for end of the semester....i guess....a tank top....and then for memorail day...a sun dress...and then for forth of july i desperatly want to look good in a tanktop and mini-skirt..................oh the dreaming never ends when it comes to clothes.................PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ooops
Sorry for all the multiple posts there, the posting seemed to be taking FOREVER on this machine and I kept cancelling and trying again! I hadn't realised that any of them had gone through.
Sorry

I just had to find this thread as I NOW have an answer to it. I have so many clothes in my wardrobe from various weight phases, right down to a weight I will probably never reach again, I had a 27 inch weist at 17 - NOT goal I'm afraid - I'll settle for 30 inch :no
I bought a pair of trousers in GAP back in September and I didn't try them on (I never do in shops and these were non-returnable, how many items have I bought that way and never got into them?!?!). They are a US size 14 (sadly not UK 14
), I can nearly do them up after losing 14 pounds so far. I dread to think how far I would have got them up a month ago. I am hoping that I can do them up in two weeks and wear them comfortably in three.
So there you have it
