  • Need help on how to figure my carb resistance level.....

at the end of my induction - I was so sick (congested, head, chest cold) the last couple days that I had quite a few frakenfoods (mostly shakes and soups) to just get me through...but kept my carbs under the 20... PLUS when I first started at 145 it was a few days before my TOM so I KNOW that I had 2-3 lbs of just regular water weight that I gain and lose every month.....so I guess my question is will I REALLY be able to tell my ACE from this weird weight loss or should I start clean today now that my water weight is gone and I'm not sick anymore? WWYD??

first of all you don't just jump to your ACE or CCLL you add only 5 net carbs of the first rung of the carb ladder in OWL to your induction level carbs whatever you eat your induction at and keep eating your normal induction foods. If you don't get cravings stall out or gain you add 5 more next carbs from the next rung testing again for reactions to those foods and that food group. When your weight loss STOPS you drop your total carbs back down 5 net carbs and see if with the foods groups you have added it ciontinues if not drop the last food group added and see if it resumes. if it does skip that rung and try ther next. I strongly suggest you read your DANDR

those arer only estiment and they have a very big range if you look.

If you up or lower your exercise your CCLL or ACE will change too.
