  • 2 weeks of clean induction...

    Hey all!
So to help me out towards my first mini-goal (165 by march 9 :yikes ) i have decided to spend the next two weeks back on clean induction. But i have one question....one of the rules says not to go 6 waking hours with out eating....since starting on this woe my appitite went WAY down and now i am completly satisfied drinking around 96 oz (4 nalgene bottles) of water having a few cups of coffee (w/cream and nuttin else) and one meal around 5:30 which consists of a sm bowl of salad with cheese and beans and tomatoes as toppings, some zuccini or other veggies and some chedder chese with deli turkey....but as i wake up around 8:30am i am not eating once every 6 hours!!! so when i go back on induction should i force my self to eat more even if i am not hungry? or should i just keep up what i am doing...only induction style...???

    thanks guys

The problem you will have is that your insulin levels will not remain stable ... this is an element for optimal weight loss and fat burning. It is no coincidance that the first Rule of Induction is ... Eat either three regular-size meals a day or four or five smaller meals. Do not skip meals or go more than six waking hours without eating.

Throughout the phases we go through in Atkins, our appetite will fluctuate from having cravings or being hungry, feeling satisfied or not feeling much like eating. Even if you have a small meal or snack, it is better than skipping mealtime.

One clarification ... when you say beans, are you talking about string beans? Legumes aren't induction friendly.

My best wishes for meeting your goal.

When you are alone in your head, you are in a bad neighborhood.
