  • For the experts in the know.....

A little background. Started induction 1/2/08. SW 242 GW 175. On 2/1 was down 24.5 to 217.5 Good month as far as I'm concerned.....

Anyway, have been on a pre and post Superbowl eating and drinking extravaganza! This morning was up to 221. Am starting induction hardcore in the morning.

Can I epxect the same results as the previous month or will the steady 3-4 pound loss of the last 2 weeks continue or will I not lose at all...... What do ya'll think?

Since you ate off plan you are probably not in ketosis and it will take a few days to get back in. No one can predict whether you will lose at the same rate but I can tell you this from my experience...I lost the least weight in the month following my October Thanksgiving cheat and it was not worth it.

I hope your experience is different! You'll need come up with some strategies though to avoid these extravaganza's in the future.

After about 5 days you'll be back to where you was before you cheated, thats why i hate cheating, it seems like such a waste of 5 days!

I also think alot of it has to do with how much weight you have to lose. Next time try to take friendly carb alternatives to snack on at the party -- I know its hard when everyone else if eating whatever they want... but remember you have a goal - to be a better and smaller YOU. I was at a party where everyone was drinking Margaritas (Mango, then strawberry.. YUM) and eating brownies shaped as footballs -- but I just had to remind myself most of these people were skinny and I am not & one cheat and I would be back to square one.

You will lose as your body likes the Atkins lifestyle.. just relax and stick to the plan
