  • Burger Meat -Advice

    Hi,
The ready burger meats available here (Tescos, Sainsbury) seems to contain Wheat. Can someone suggest how I can make my own with beef mince or any other suggestions?

Buy directly the meat. Ask for minced meat (half beef-half pork) and then add it 1 beaten egg, fried onion, 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic, fresh parsley and salt&pepper. It´s my basic burger recipe.

You can also make chicken burgers adding the same ingredients and minced bacon + grated cheese.
I´m my best friend and my worst enemy.

You can also add crushed pork rinds, ground flax seeds or other legal veggies to the mix (bean sprouts, shredded zucchini, parsley, cilantro, or whatever you wish to add flavour/texture).

If you can't get the mixture mentioned above - buy two or three types of ground meat (unless you have a meat grinder and can grind it yourself), and mix it together.

Make the patties as you wish, and freeze the extras for use later - nice and quick. If you put them in a plastic container, stacked, make sure you put waxed or parchment paper between them.
