I'm starting a new different class in my training at the gym. i went tonight for the first time and i felt at the end of it like i hadn't exercised at all in the past 6 years! the class is called "Functional Integrated Strength training" and uses a variety of techniques and moves with a combination of resistance, and weights and some other stuff. it gave all the major muscle groups a heck of a workout, and has alot of focus on developing your core stability and strength through your abdominal muscles(all of them!) and your back muscles. The arm and leg exercises were pretty tough too. I discovered my main abdominal muscles right in front are alot weaker than i had thought, so this will be quite the challenging class. There were only 2 moves (push ups, and 1 type of crunchies on my back with legs in the air) I had to be careful with, as I have a bad back from some car accidents, and an irritated rotor (rotator?) cuff in my left shoulder due to an old sports injury when i was in highschool. the afer effects of the class feel pretty good in my muscles. Definitely feels like i'm starting to add on some lean body mass there. So, i'm gonna wait 3 weeks before I weigh myself again and wait for the new changes to stabilise themselves.

Congrats on upping the exercise :joy
I wish I had your determination to not weigh. I never thought of myself as a scale-slave but since I've not lost any weight in three weeks I'm hopping on them everyday :sadblinky
Keep up with the classes and let us know how you get on - I can't wait to here your losses (cm's or kg) :hug

I'm with you Shade wolf. I am against weighing frequently because it directly affects my motivation and sends me into a tailspin. I now will do it every 2 weeks.
