you are doing just fine how many inches have you lost in the last 2 weeks scale weight isn't the end all of fat loss. you can morph your body and add amny things to gain mass while burning up your fat mass and not have a net effective change of your total mass for the force of gravity to display on your sclaed but your tape measure will show it.

Im sure Diva will be along to instruct you hhow to exactly get those morphing inches to really impress folk with. Maybe you could get Mrs Cobra Dan to do them for you and have a great VD evening.

    Happy Low carbing.

usually consists of 2 or 3 strips of fried pork belly (like thick bacon but not cured) and 2 fried eggs for breakfast

anywhere from 5 or 6 litres of water a day

lunch is usually either 2 hamburger patties with butter or some buffalo chicken chuncks

dinner... usually a baked chicken breast over about 2.5 cups of salad with grated cheese and ranch.

snacks are usually a stick of string cheese, or a mock cream cheese danish.

Dan..how many weeks in are you?? I'm starting my fifth and found during weeks 3-4 I didn't lose anything either (stayed at 154.4). But after checking my weight during that time I remembered that about 3 years ago I was that weight (154.4) for a long time. It's like your body takes a record of a weight it's comfortable at and stays there until it realizes that it's still getting all the good stuff you need to be healthy and lose. My lack of loss finally has stopped and I'm down 3 more pounds.

            Hope this isn't too confusing.

Keep up the good work! Don't quit or even cheat! Hope to hear more on your losses. Keep us posted!

we're all impatient when it comes to weight loss, but you have read the sticky posted by Moochiecat about weight loss being non-linear, right Dan?

By the way, how tall are you? we seem to have similar goals although I started earlier. I expect to stall a bit since I'm only now just starting weight training at the gym. I have a deadline for reaching my goal weight but I'm not too worried about that. I just want to lose inches at this point of time and I hope going to the gym will help.

Are you on a deadline too? You seem to be in a hurry!

Cobra, do you consider yourself still on induction or OWL? I too stalled for about 2 weeks and then this past week I dropped 6 lbs. I have had a lot more to lose than you so I might initially lose more quickly. You can expect a slow down as you reach your ideal weight. If you are still trying to stay on induction you might be having a little"crab creeping" going on. I think that was my problem. If not on induction, you might want to try to drop into it for a week and see if it helps........keep on with the good work you've been doing........it will come !!
