Well today is my 6th day of Induction and I have lost about 5 pounds! the question is Am I losing this weight too fast?? I am stoked about things, but dont want to lose too fast because I fear the weight will come back too quick!! :sarcasm

That is normal during induction, and you will probably lose even more in the next week or so. Feels good doesn't it? :joy
As long as you stick to the book the weight shouldn't come back, with the exception of maybe a couple pounds due to water weight. It may be that you start to lose weight more slowly later on, but for now enjoy the induction whoosh!

A person will, on average, lose 5 to 10 % of their desired amount in the first two weeks of Atkins. You are wanting to lose around 70 pounds, so you could expect to losearound 7 pounds. You may lose it in the first week, part in the first week, part in the second; only your body knows for sure...and only your body knows how fast or slow the weight will come off.

You said you don't want to lose too fast because you fear the weight will come back on too quick....if you're following the plan as laid out in the book, Atkins will become your way of eating for life and the weight will stay off, so no worries there.
