Is it allowed if it has very, very little amount of carrot in? I had lunch and he put a bit dollop of coleslaw on my salad, it was pretty difficult to scrape all of it off the leaves and meat so I would have eaten some and now I'm worried!

It is not allowed because it is usually made with sugar. I would drink extra and try to avoid it in the future.

Drink lots of water and watch your carb intake for the next few days closely- also if you like it- try making it yourself you can buy it in the bags just like salads, and make it yourself w/ mayo and water- its pretty good, and the carb count is on the back of the bag

Just got a fabulous-tasting -- and simple -- recipe for cole slaw, so you can make your own sugar-free version!

        1-2-3 Cole Slaw

Whisk together the following in a bowl:

1 part vinegar (rice vinegar is tasty, but be sure to get the plain, not "seasoned" rice vinegar)

2 parts Splenda (the measurable kind)

        3 parts heavy cream

(If you're making just a few servings, you might use 1 tablespoon vinegar, 2 tablespoons Splenda, and 3 tablespoons cream. If you're making a larger amount, you might double those amounts.)

Mix in shredded cabbage. (You want enough cabbage so that it isn't drowning in the cream, but still has a nice flavor -- this is sort of up to individual preference.) You can let it sit in the fridge for a little while for the flavors to blend, or if you're impatient like me, scarf it down right away -- yum!
