I just started induction today and I have some questions.

Does a 16 oz bottle of Fruit2O count as one carb due to the sweetener?

I have sliced cracker barrel cheddar cheese. It says 0 carbs on the package. Is it zero?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi.

Regarding the Fruit2O: look at the serving size listed on the bottle. One serving size will count as one of your 3 sweetener allotments. Some folks will count that 1 serving as 1 carb. I once wrote Atkins Nutritionals, Inc about this and the automated response said to count each serving as 1 net carb.

    Regarding the cheese:

For Cracker Barrel, 1 ounce has 120 total calories, 10 grams fat, 7 grams protein and 0 carbs. If you use a "hidden carb calculator", you'll find that there are 2 "hidden" carbs per 1 ounce of the cheese. (http://www.e-clipse.com/hidcarbcal.htm )

I would count those 2 carbs per 1 ounce of the cheese.
