I was supposed to restart induction yesterday. i even got the bag of candy my mother n law gave me and gave it to the neighbor kids. but than i raided my husbands bag. i am so disgusted. well today was a bad day to. i just reread the induction part of the book and printed out the wallet card of acceptable foods. i don't know why i can't do it, i know i lost weight on it last week, oh well, heres starting again.

No one said it was easy. Some do find it easier than others. On Oprah not to long ago she has some big losers on and I will never forget one of them said that if you have a problem doing everything, exercise, drinking water, and low carbing, to do just one thing, and do it until you make it yours. So, try that. Today, right now, pick one. Pick exercise as thats a big one for us. Join one of the exercise challenges and for the next month, make sure you exercise and stick with it.
Stay with us, read the success stories, post your daily exerrcise, and then in a month reevaluate what you want to do. Add drinking water, or add low carb living, but just start at one little bite at a time.

I used to be like you, i just didnt have the will power to stick to it, then one day everything clicked into place and i knew it was time to become something better, Im well on my way now but still kick myself for missing the opportunities, I could of been at goal months ago if i'd of just stuck to it.

by reading what u wrote I just want to ask u something "why do you wanna lose weight?" Are you unhappy the way u look right now or underneath it all u accept and like the way u look and want to lose weight to be what people want you to be? I've felt like you several times, and it seamed like I wasn't able to stick to any diet programm for more than 2 or 3 days and looking back the only reason I can find to that is I wasn't doing it for myself but because I believed that by being thinner people would have loved me more.
There's no point in making sacrifices if you don't fell like doing it, you'll only feel worse and more depressed everytime you cheat (and it will happen again if you're not focused on what your doing). Take your time, relax and start again. it's never too late.

You've gotta love yourself, at any weight. You do not suck!! Give yourself a hug, here's one for you. :hug You can do this. I know I made mistakes at first, heck I still mess up sometimes. :wave U DO NOT SUCK...so dont say that.When you talk i feel your like me.I have such a problem and in the middle of the night i find anything that i know will taste good...biscuits,crisps, and i stuff my face.It like i want to eat it then forget it but in the morning i feel so bad.I started induction again on monday and so far so good as i lost my first 2 pounds in 3 days. It not a lot but one thing that made me do it was the saying
"This food will be taste good for 2 min in my mouth but 20 years on the hips". It is an expression we have in england. Also
"Bigger pickers wear bigger knickers!" it so true as i pick at everything even though i know i shouldnt and i ve put on 30 pounds in last few months.Im 200lbs now and want to get to 150lbs. If feels like it will never happen but try and keep telling yourself that even though you enjoy the sweets think about how you will feel after that. :joy it was something that helped me and hope it of some use.
I know you can do it, just put your head back up take a deep breath and start again."If at first you dont succeed try try again!" :icondance

what is working for me is to have a plan for everything...I'm not a big fan of Dr. Phil but something he said stuck with me. He said it isn't the moments when we are inspired to workout or eat healthy because anyone can do that when they are all gung ho and motivated...its the moments where you just don't want to do it that counts. I never WANT to excercise but I do it anyway. I don't WANT to stop eating cookies and ice cream but I do it anyway because this is important to me. Have a plan for the moments of weakness...don't rely on willpower. Fill your kitchen with Induction friendly foods...keep things like cheese crackers handy to snack on. If you want something sweet eat a pickle it really helps cut the desire for sweets down. Sit down and be honest with yourself that this isn't going to be easy in the beginning but do it anyway. We are always here for support during your weakest moments. Good luck.32yr old Female
