  • where do you buy this flax thang?

    i don't understand what flax is, or where you buy it.
    can anyone tell me?

    I found flax seed at my local grocery store. I then bought a coffee grinder to grind it. You can buy the pre-ground stuff, but I think the seeds are cheaper. Mine were $1 a bag!

      yeah

      I got flaxseed meal from the local grocery store... it was by all the soy milk products and stuff like that... like the natural peanut butter and grains and oats cerals... it was like $3.00 that's not bad!!

        And in UK it is known as Linseed and usually for sale at health food shops

            I've read that I need to add it to my diet for fiber, but what should I add it to?

              Click the Recipes link at the top of the page and then type the word 'flax' in the seasrch box to see all the recipes there that include flax. There are several OK for induction there you can make.
              I often make the microwaved flax bread and eat a slice for breakfast with butter and tomatoes or cream cheese or toast it to put under a fried egg.
              There is also a hot cereal recipe there I think.
              But on your first two weeks of induction you should only have the equivalent of one Tablespoon worth of flax to start with to see how it helps you. So that is a quarter of the recipe of the bread any one day.
