Well!!!! Today was weigh in for this local contest I kind of randomly joined in January when I started atkins. I figured it would be something to help keep me on track and hopefully in the gym more!
You weigh in at the first of each month and today is my 3rd weigh in so far and I started at 373. I bought a scale for the house so I can weigh myself in the mornings before a shower just to give myself an idea of whats going on. WELL when I got the scale I was wondering what the heck was wrong with it because it said that I weighed 352 or so.. and from that number it kept dropping clear down to the 345 area.
I thought to myself.. this can't be right? So today was weigh in and I went in and weighed in (with clothes no shoes) at 347. Before I left my house it said that I weighed 346.8!! SO i'm very comfortable with my scale now in knowing that it is currently reading very accurate.
In other news I have hit a mini goal of mine and that was 350lbs! NEXT is to hit 299 and get out of the 300 club!!! I LOVE THIS DIET and this is PROOF that anybody can do this if I can! Just read read and RE-READ Dr. Atkins' book and ask on here to get the facts straight and you will do great!
Another tip: weighing yourself everyday is very discouraging as you dont see the little changes because of the fluxuation....but for some people (like me) I enjoy watching it go up and down so I can mess with the statistics in my head haha.
One last thing.. TAKE BEFORE PICS! I was too ashamed to but now I wish I would have!! I have current pictures but im not brave enough to post them up here yet haha!
