  • Looking for Induction buddy?

    Hi All i am new here

    I am on my 13th day of induction , yay! and its going better than i thought..I am enjoying it so much i may go on extended induction.. However what i a looking for is a MSN induction buddy, someone who is also doing induction and may go on to the extended induction who wants support. I think it would be good to have someone you can chat to and share idea's with and support when things arent going so well.. If you are interested, great! you can then pmessage me and we can swap msn's.. Hope to hear from you soon

    Starting Weight: 268.2lbs
    Current weight: 256.6lbs
    1st Goal: 220.0 lbs
    2nd Goal: 200.0 lbs
    3rd Goal: 180.0 lbs
    4th Goal: 160lbs
    FINAL Goal: 140lbs



    ( note: i have posted this in the 14 day induction phase, hope it dosent bother anyone that i have posted this twice)

      Hello,
      My name is Dawn I am on week 2 I started on July 14.
      I am 37 years old
      My start weight was 183
      my current weight is 179
      my goal is kinda high 120 - 130
      I exercise 1 - 2 hours a day 6 days a week
      I do WII fitness and Dance Revolution (dont know if you have heard of these)
      I have 6 children, ages 19, 12, 7 , 4, 3, 2... 3 boys and 3 girls.
      I have been trying to lose weight since my last daughter was born.
      I just keep gaining it.

      I am working so hard, and it doesn't seem like much results.

        I'd say you are doing great. You just finished induction the begining of this week and have lost 7.5% of the total weight you want to lose. Think of it this way, if you had 100 lbs to lose that would be 7.5 lbs! That's really good...

          Hi Sara!! I would love to have a buddy! I am doing The Biggest Loser Challenge at work and am super motivated. I'm on extended induction on day 22. It never hurts to have that little extra push . Congrats on your induction and hope things are going great for you!

                I don't have/use MSN but would love to have an email buddy. I started on July 29th. I lost 5 lbs in the first week and a half and then since then it's just bounced around at a 3 lb loss. Ya, a loss is a loss, but it's hard to stay motivated and know I cheated. In looking back, I know I didn't stick to the induction rules to a 'T' like I should have. So I'm going to follow induction again to make sure I'm back on plan.

                  Remember, folks that there are programmes around that are looking to 'harvest' genuine email addresses to sell to spammers!

                  Please use the private message system here to pass info like this to others instead of handing it out to the robot email address collectors

                    speaking of dance revolution as u put wich is actually dance dance revolution or ddr for short, does anyone know how accurate the calorie burn is in that game, i play it a freaking lot since its one of my favs but i dont want to relie on it as a type of excersice unless its accruate, and yes i measure my excesice my calories burned usually. its just to measure how much ive done so im not tryin to burn caloreis per se'.
