    I started atkins 2 1/2 weeks ago, and ended my period 1 1/2 ago, but my ankles ache so bad, and also my back. What is going on? I just bypass it, but my ankles are killing me

      Oh dear. Do you have pain or swelling? Have you been exercizing? Eating well and taking supplements and water.
      I hope you can get to the bottom of it.

          Sorry to hear you are having aches and pains I hope you get to the bottom of this and feel better soon. It isnt an 'Atkins effect' I have seen talked of on these boards as far as I recollect.

          I noticed you dont have an awful lot of weight to lose, and have already lost 1/3rd of that this time around

          Had you considered moving to OWL instead of staying on induction?
          Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
