  • Stalled and Frustrated

I have been at the same weight or a pound over for about a week! I don't feel like I've lost much in terms of inches either. I know I have lost some around the middle because my jeans are getting loose but other than that I am not seeing anything moving!

I am frustrated because I am sticking to the diet! I'm not cheating and haven't cheated. I am careful to get my veggies in as well as stick within my limits on everything else.

I decided to stay on Induction past my two weeks and now I'm thinking that maybe that was a bad idea. I haven't lost any weight since my first two weeks and I am entering my fourth week.

I've been reading the threads here and I see that sometimes you have to shake things up and move yourself forward to OWL but I am scared. I'm afraid if I add anything else in I will gain more.

My weight lost during induction was only 11 lbs. I expected more but I'm happy with 11 lbs.

HELP! I am so discouraged right now.

youre not in a stall. just dont expect the scale to reveal the truth every time. when the body loses fat, it will replace the lost fat with water, as a "place holder"
once the body figures out that the fat isnt coming back, it lets go of the water and you see a big drop on the scale. the important thing is that you are seeing the difference in your jeans!

      Yes what Tony said.
What many of experience after induction is PISS (Post induction Stall Syndrom). The body is just adjusting. Hang in there, it will pass.

I suggest moving onto OWL rung 1. More veggies are not going to hurt you. You can stay there a while if you choose and you will develop good habits as you get used to eating lots of veggies.

Michele, I am in the same boat . My weight has not decreased for almost two weeks (since 3/15/0. I wish it would change for both of us, but it's nice to know I'm not alone.
Each day I drink about 1 gallon of water . I even started tracking calories and carbs just to make sure nothing was out of whack.

Tony and Liv - thanks for the input.

I'll anxiously wait for the big drop...
