  • Helloo

So today is day #2 for me. Well it's practically over...tomorrow will be day #3! I just had some chicken and broccoli and I have to say, I really need to learn how to cook better because I was choking down my chicken, haha.

I probably should have weighed myself BEFORE the diet but I didn't. oops. I suppose I'll weigh myself tomorrow morning? I probably only have 5-10 pounds to lose but I hear that can also be the hardest getting those last few pounds to shed...am I right?

Let's see. Every morning I have an omelet and decaf green tea (I try to have the tea morning and night). Lunch today was tuna with pickles. Dinner is always the same but hopefully I learn how to cook more meals since I bought a new lo-carb cook book. Last night I went out and had steak and string beans...

Okay..feeling good and anxious to see results! Everytime I try atkins I end up not doing the super strict induction version and always endulge in a scoop of peanut butter (bad!) or have a starbucks cappacino with heavy cream and splenda but I swear none of that is allowed on atkins (yet) so this is the first time since um..forever, that i'm doing it accurately.

    wish me luck..
    -Michelle-

P.S - I will be in Disney World in 11 more days ...that will be the hardest challenge - to be in Disney World and NOT endulge....let's see if I can do it.

P.P.S - I'm mad I didn't workout today. I skipped my dance class bc I'm sore from tae-bo yesturday but I am planning on getting up early to do tae-bo again and my goal is 5 days this week of working out...ay! k bye!

I don't really cook either. I fry, broil, boil or grill my meat then I eat raw vegetables or salads with it, lol. Here is a good site you might like, everything marked with * is induction friendly. http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/index.html

Let me tell you something about Disney (well, I went to Disneyland but I am sure Disney World isn't any different. I haven't been there since 1985) but the entire place smells like candy and bad-for-you food. I didn't cheat but it was so hard. I don't even take any sweeteners so I didn't even eat anything "sugar free" in the candy shops. I knew that would just be a recipe for disaster. Drink as much water as you can and ALWAYS ride space mountain before leaving (twice if you can). I went last week and it was a super busy day and I was there for ten and a half hours and only got to ride like 5 or 6 rides. Have fun!

      Re: Helloo

hahaha Disneyland is WAY different than Disney World silly!! Disney land is like a one-day amusement park kinda and Disney World ohhh it's so magical and MASSIVE...I will be there an entire week. But yes it's LOADED with junk food...but many GREAT restaurants where I know I can get atkins easily...so I might pack my own sugar-free, atkins candy and make sure I load up on eggs in the morning and look fwd to my dinners...ummm ay! I have to wing it!

Who knows..my inner demons might come out since my parents just died and I might just want to go back to my child-days and eat all the bad bad foods..

      we shall see...

It doesn't take luck Michelle, you can do it. don't worry to much about not weighing yourself, the proof is in "them" tight jeans

YOU ARE RIGHT...that's all i needed. Today is day #3 and I look and feel fabulous already...and I have my period! So I'm bloaty - yet I still look good! I remember when I did this years ago and once you see results - it gets addicting and you never want to fall off the wagon so I think come Disney ...I will be all obsessed with how I'm looking/feeling and I don't want to risk getting tired from all that walking (and I will if I eat that junk food) soooo I'm going to stick to the diet the entire way through.

Question though.. My 2-weeks will be through and we are going to pleasure island some nights. I was going to have 1-2 beers of Mich Ultra (the lower carb)...if I make sure I include that in my 20-carb intake...I'll be okay right? I hear alcohol stalls the diet - doesn't make you put on weight but stalls it? Well...I think I won't mind stalling as long as I'm not gaining and I'll be walking so much everyday...I love Mich Ultra. I'm a cheap drunk. 2 beers and I'm buzzed and done for the night...

Thoughts? (I might make a new post out of this question hehe)
