  • Can I have Flax meal & if so how much?

    I am on day 14 in induction and today i made a couple of recipes with flax meal. Can I have flax meal on induction? if so, how much is too much? thanks

    I don't think there is a rule about how much we can use. Its pretty much just fiber.

        Well lets just say I felt really gulity having 1 serving of flax meal cookies (1 carb total)... I had another post and someone commented that during induction we can have 2 Tbl. , so basically I choose either to have it as cookies during the day or crackers. They are pretty good

          If you eat too much you would need to be aware of its effect on your intestinal tract ...

          I typically make the plain version, 1T each of flax meal and water (0 carbs that way), and have it with cheese (So I feel like I'm having cheese and crackers) If I'm careful, I can spread some Laughing Cow soft cheese on them without breaking them!
