  • Starting tomorrow.....

    Ok so i think i need just a bit more structure to meet my first mini-goal and get back on track! I have been in the first rung of owl for a while and kept losing but i have been letting the carbs creep back in and have been not keeping track of eating and such so i think i am going to start over, mainly so i can get my mind and motivation back on track! Anyways....i need help getting over my fear of eating too much....right now as it stands i am eating only 1 meal a day and i know that i have to eat more....any advice to get over that little voice that says ......YOU SHOULDN'T BE EATING ANYTHING!

    You should be eating something at least every six waking hours. One meal a day isn't good! :yikes I would eat like 3 small meals and 2 snacks throughout the day.

    I don't know what to say about your "little voice", lol, but it's absolutely wrong!

      Tell your little voice that you have lost nearly 30 pounds by following the induction rules and eating well!! :joy :joy

      You are going to have to train yourself to start eating regularly again. :hug
      Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

        ciaobella--no advice from me- as i have the same tendecy to do as you are doing- which i also know is not good, im now trying to eat a boiled egg or a piece of cheese or something for lunch or breakfast. i just wnated to wish you the best of luck , and say your doing great!

            EAT!!!

            Your body needs fuel and you are starving each cell of your body in between your one meal a day. Remember, health is the ultimate goal here and you need to give yourself proper nutrition to get there. Aim for at least 3 meals a day and work your way up from there if you need to. But definitely eating only one meal a day is not a great idea. You already know that.

              thanks guys!!! i have good news to report too!!

              first good news...went through the day without a latte or cappuccino or americano, i know that sounds silly but i was literally downing around 8 expresso shots dailiy :yikes (probably why i wasn't hungry!)

              second good news....i had lunch!!! yes albeit a small one but i had a small bit of dry tuna and 1/2 of broccoli

              third good news.....drank a lot of water and kept up good eating at dinner...turkey, with 1 cup broccoli and chedder cheese and a slice of no sugar added ham (i check the label and everything!)

              went to the gym and started the ab work out of death w/my gym buddy...haha it's basically medicine ball toss cruches on an incline with a five- eight lb medince ball 3 sets of 20....i can't laugh i hurt so much!

              thanks for all your support this board is great!

              ps....why can i not access the board sometimes...too much volume or is my comp just screwy?
