  • End of the two week induction

    End of week two...my weight is down 5.8 lbs from 145 to 139.2 (ish, it fluctuates a bit every day).. my measurements

    Thigh up 7 inches from knee....21.5.....21.5....no change :sadblinky
    Thigh up 9 inches from knee...23.5....23....-.5 inch :yes
    hips.......41....41.....no change :sadblinky
    pouch (between belly button & hips)....35.5....35.5... no change :sadblinky
    belly button....31....28.5...-2.5 inches! :joy
    chest.....29....28 -1 inch :yes

    So...I guess thats an ok change so far...I was really hoping for more, but I know it will come. The best change that came out of these two weeks is that I don't feel out of control with my food anymore and I was SO out of control it was scary... I'm tempted to stay on induction, but I think I should move onto OWL and HOPE that I will be part of boot camp in a couple weeks...xxxxing my fingers for more losses.

        if you are in OWL you don't need induction boot camp You know what you need to do now all you have to so is do it asyou said you are now in control of your eating. Climb the ladder and experiment with the food groups drink your water do your exercise and you will know you are becoming a healthier smaller person. What more could we need then that.

          Way to go, excellent job you lost a lot of inches and the weight well it doesn't reflect how great you are doing. I'm so happy you're measuring it really matters on this WOE.

                    good job! i know what you mean about wishing it was more...i try not to get down on myself cause i know that i am making progress, just maybe slower than others. but congrats again!

                          Congrats on being in control -- that is the big trump card that Atkins meant to me. No longer was unable to resist the food in the fridge calling my name. I was able to say "no, I don't need you" and mean it. I am glad you found that control as well Tammy. The pounds being lost are now just a matter of time and persistance.
