  • 4 weeks in.....

    And I am down 7 pounds! It used to be so much more but this time I am exercising.... and i never have before. I do Slim in 6...an hour a day, 6 days a week. And it's really paying off!!

    And while the scale hasn't moved a whole lot... I have to say, when I restarted on the 4th of April, my body fat percentage was 43% according to my scale. I know they are not very accurate, especially in the morning, but even when I was down to 153 last go round, it NEVER got below 40% and I am at 37% this morning!!! I have never felt so assured that I am, in fact, losing FAT not muscle!

    I feel fantastic, I see the changes, and I couldnt be any happier right now.

    So those of you who TOLD me to exercise before, you were right and I wish I had listened sooner... To those of you who are exercising and not losing as much, don't fret. It's coming off JUST where it should be. I'd rather lose 7 pounds of fat than 15 pounds..and lose muscle with that as well. And finally, to those of you who aren't exercising, please start. Start small. Take a short walk, anything to get yourself moving. You are investing SO much into changing the way you eat...why not give 100%?? It WILL pay off in the end!

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

      Thank you for your post. It's a great motivator! I'm not an excerciser. I know that's bad so I've been slowly trying to make it a habit. I've joined a few challenges and everything but I need all the motivation I can get.

        Irish, I am so glad you are taking some steps in the right direction!! Good for you girl!!!!

        It's hard to get motivated but you will hit a certain point where you actualyl look forward to working out and the energy it gives you...and you will love it! You keep working hard and you will get there, I promise =]
