Your talking to someone who has a family person waitering there - #1. Number two, the actual wings cant possibly have any more than 1gm per about 4-6 pieces. That is just meat. Meat is meat, no matter where you go. Chicken is chicken, no matter where you go. The difference in carb counts between the different restaurants you mentioned is that some put sugar in their hot sauce and some put other honey bbq, or something else on thier wings. Again - my entire family has waited restaurants for a long time - we know the deal. But AS I SAID ABOVE ^^^ I asked the waitress to find out what is on the wing sauce (I ordered mild so there was very little) and she didnt even have to ask anyone, she said that it was part regular hot sauce and part water (AS I SAID ABOVE). So tell me. What exactly dont you get. Maybe the neuron between your brain and your fingers arent working? (kidding off course - dont take it the wrong way)SW: 325

Yah ... Im actually not learning. I know the diet inside and out. Been on the diet for over 6 months ... lost 65 pounds (weighed 325) then re-started last month!Originally posted by bilowi:sadblinky Kind of sad to watch you all just jump on Emo Boy rather than gently assist. He is still learning. This is one of the reasons that I read the boards but rarely post, people are too quick to jump on someone.
But you have a good point!SW: 325

I lost 55 pounds doing Atkins the wrong way. It didn't make me an expert. Now thanks to ADBB I'm glad to be following this WOE the right way. Sometimes it seems like people are being harsh, but they do it out of love here! Everyone wants you to succeed!
Remember that and please post away (people who fear repercussions)!
We are all learning... just at different stages of it.

Good for you ... I probably failed to see your point though. You weighed over 300 pounds giving which is a good place to start because pounds fall off at that point and your a women and dont have a lot of muscle mass to protect.Originally posted by cleochatraI lost 55 pounds doing Atkins the wrong way. Please don't take this wrong but by some of the posts I did guess you were in your teens. Sometimes when people try to answer your questions or posts you get "know it all" or aggressive about your point. This is probably the reason why you feel jumped on sometimes. Try to lighten up and realize nobody knows everything right.

I never said that I was inable to learn new stuff. But most of the comments on this particular 'board' of the whole ADBB forum is just general common knowledge.Originally posted by shelbyquinn03079Also, don't forget you can ALWAYS learn something. Even if you think you know something inside and out there is always something to learn.SW: 325

Did I ever say that I felt like I was jumped on? I believe it was 2 OTHER posters that said that I was being jumped on. Not me.Originally posted by shelbyquinn03079Please don't take this wrong but by some of the posts I did guess you were in your teens. Emo Boy, I went to the trouble of googling Applebees wings and other similar restaurants for you (something you apparently didn't bother to do for yourself) and I don't appreciate the ingratitude and sarcasm in your posts whether it's in jest or not. Those are the results I got. I can't help it if you don't like those results.Originally posted by Emo_BoyYour talking to someone who has a family person waitering there - #1. The stix only tell you that fat is being metabolized, but it doesn't distinguish between the fat you ate or the fat on your body.Originally posted by Emo_BoyWell I just checked and Im still toward the darker end of the purple in the ketostix ... so I guess there was nothing wrong with them. Amazing.Originally posted by 2big4mysizeagain you don't put anything in your mouth before you know the carb count and if it is legal for your phase. All it takes is one stinking carb over your persenal CCLL just one and your weight loss stops dead! So again Never put anything in your mouth until you know the ingredients and the carb count and if it is legal for your phase
oh and you better cal your Applebees cause it ain't just hot sauce and water it has dried milk powder thickeners and soy in it too!
I googled Applebees and apparently there is some nutritional info on their wings. Since they're a low fat outfit, they only give the total cals and total fat values, nothing else unfortunately. So with that very limited information you can't even mathematically estimate what the carb count is. Had they included the protein content, you would be able to figure out the total carb count.....
I also googled other Applebee type restaurants and found their carb counts on their wings were anywhere from 2 net carbs "per serving" to 48 net carbs "per serving". The serving size varied widely too. One place called a "one serving" 1/2 of the order
The carb count for their "one serving" was 24 net carbs. Another place's "one serving" was 8 wings with a net carb count of 43.

As for "what I don't exactly get", I'll tell you. IF you KNEW what was in the sauce, what's the purpose of this post? Let me quote your initial post here:
Anyone who "KNEW" what was in the sauce because they asked the waitress, wouldn't be running here and posting if it was okay to eat it---they would be running to a carb counter and trying to estimate it for themselves.Originally posted by Emo BoyMild chicken wings ... about 15-20 of them (however many were in the appetizer) was my dinner. Anyone know how many carbs ... the wings should be very low and I dont think the sauce has any sugar ... but if anyone knows le tme know!
It seems like you've got your knickers in a twist because no one here could give you the exact carb count, eventhough the waitress told you it was "regular hot sauce mixed with water" and because no one gave you the answer you wanted to hear.
My sincere best wishes to you on your weight loss journey.
