  • 19 lbs down during 14 day induction... now what?

Hi all, I am on my 14th day of induction. I have had a really clean induction and dropped a total of 19 pounds. I have lots more to lose though and was wondering if I should stay on extended induction? Personally I like the food and do not feel deprived or bored so far. I am leaning towards extended induction due to the fact that Dr. A says its an option for people like me with lots to lose. Any experience or information would be appreciated as I want to make a really informed decision Thanks everyone!

I stayed on extended induction for a long time also, eventually you will start to stall and that's when i moved up a rung. The loss kicked right back in when i did. Listen to your body it will tell you. Especially since your not having a hard time with food choices. Great job on 19 lbs, i did 14 lbs and thought it was great LOL Happy Losing!

WOW! Congrats I just knew when it was time for me to move to OWL. Induction was boring and I wanted more food choices. Now that I'm on OWL, I've never been happier.

Congratulations LaceyLoo. Welcome to the boards and your new way of eating. What a great way to start off. I didn't have much of a problem with induction so I stayed on for about a month. Then I went up to rung 1, adding 5 net carbs of veggies. I'm doing great here, so I'll probably stay for a while. I, too have a long way to go, and I'm very happy with the results. I've been preaching the water drinking a lot lately, so I'll just say...if you make sure to drink at least 64oz of water per day religiously, it will make a difference, at least it did for me. I wasn't drinking enough during the first few weeks, but then I joined the water challenge and noticed a big difference. Glad to see you here!
