What I did for extra incentive, and extra cash

    :wave
I recently went thru my closets and sold all of my clothes that are too big for me on ebay. I also sold all of the summer clothes I wore last year, because I know they will be way to big for me come summertime. Now I have no choice but to stick with this.....unless I move to a nudist colony. :laughing

It's great isn't it. I do the same thing-- only at consignment shops. I found its just a good way to clean out your closet, period, whether something doesn't fit anymore and it still almost new-- or you just can't fathom why you bought it in the first place.

Its a great feeling knowing you will never fit in those clothes again. I love getting new smaller things

Yes, people that use ebay will buy all kinds of stuff. When I list it, I make sure they know the condition of it, and I don't start my auctions out too high. A lot of people got some really great clothes from me cheap!!! But, as much as they need new-to-them clothes, I need the money to buy some more for me

I love that I never thought of anticipating the loss and disposing of the out of season clothes. What a great idea.

Me and hubby cleaned out our closets today. Between the two of us, we filled up 4 huge hefty type bags. I think we'll have a garage sale next month.

Can you imagine i still held onto a couple of my big clothes its like "Just In Case" i really need to reprogramme. I gave out most of my clothes to my big pals. And most were brand new, had to go shopping again and loved it.

I have even mailed some of my clothes to members here at ADBB. It was fun. I love to give , better than to recieve.

Heck! I even added some music CD's I burned for them . Nothing like getting a gift in the mail that you weren't expecting.

Have a great LOW carb day. Iam heading to bed. Good night!! :hug

I cleaned out my closet, too, a couple of weeks ago and gave everthing but one pair of previously tight size 18 pants to goodwill. I kept those 18s as I wore them more than any of my other clothes.

I now wear a 10-12, but every once and a while, I put on the size 18s to remind me where I have come from. They give me a big reality check! Nothing like putting on those 18s to keep me from wanting to give up this WOE!!

thats a good idea for the ebay thing... i got some baby clothes to get rid of to.. i used to always give them away, and that feels really good but the cancer federation does not come around anymore, so I guess I will have to sale them :nod
