  • Need some motivation

Hi everyone well I finished my induction and lost about 10 pounds, wich I am very happy about. But now I am getting back to my old ways someone convinced me to drink with them at a party and ever since then I have been eating all the bad carbs I do good in the morning trying to get back to my extended induction but I just can't. I even tried laxatives wich I know is horrible if someone has any word of advice your input would really help me.

    Re: Need some motivation

Start back where you left off and tell yourself that your friends didn't make you do it. You probably already know that road of using laxatives is the one that leads to eating disorders...and not worth damaging your life. You're too precious to go that route!

And the next time you want to celebrate losing 10 pounds (I'm guessing here), do something more fun like go for a walk, bike ride, buy new shoes or nail polish. Something that's just for you and not foods or drinks

If your stats are correct, my guess is that you're reading to move up the OWL rungs to number 1. Give that a try and have fun with the recipes so boredom won't overcome.

My advice to you is be strong. Strong enough to resist temptation and dont put anymore of that poison into your body. Go back to basics and rev up them engines again for a restart. You survived induction once, now you know you can do it again. Keep us posted. God Bless, Joe

Thank you so much for the great advice. I will reread my atkins book and move to the next level. I guess the best way to motivate myself is to read all the great sucess all of you have had. Hope to have good news soon, but the healthy way nothing is worth risking your health. Thanks again for all of your support.
