  • Hmmm... What to do?

    Ok, so I never realized how serious of a food addict I am until this moment..

    I've just recently re-started Atkins for the.. I dont know how many-eth time, and I've become a little flustered because I haven't been losing fast, or even hardly at all it seems like this time around.

    I got my body out of ketosis (from a DARK pink ketostik to a very faint pink), and have been working hard thru my grumbliness and growliness to get back in it.

    Tonight, I ordered a small, personal pizza. Just occured to me I should see how far done with ketosis I was. Here's whats going down:

    I have a YUMMY pizza that I'll probably trade for a salad, or a DARK PURPLE ketostik.....

    I need a meeting..................................

    Hi missnikki217, good for you recognizing the problem. You are getting thinner in your thinking! Way to come back to the boards for help. Eat something you are allowed to have on induction or rung 1. Drink lots of water. You can do it! Remember your goals and strive for them. Spend some time looking at the before and after pics. Read some of the wonderful stories of people losing 100's of pounds. Hope this helps

      Those before and after stories (plus pics) really keep me focused....I post pics of my self around the house. I just keep thinking about how I felt when I was not doing atkins.....was it worth it for that bread stick....or that Big Mac....or that tasty loaf( yes I said loaf) of freshly baked bread. Ithink it gets bad when even cartoons are making me crave, but I find that there is plenty to be had on induction that I can calm my cravings with. In fact I make this tasty Key lime cheese cake that is totally ON INDUCTION....When I have things readily available to me around the house I am good...it is normally when Im starving and have nothing is when I cheat.

        What to do, you ask?? Stay motivated and focused and you'll do fine. Keep the faith and get strong and in no time you'll be where you wanna be. Keep us posted on your progress. God Bless, Joe
