    Re: Coffeeoholic

Well maybe it's because I drink Dunkin Donuts coffee, but I have no cravings and by drinking the coffee it seems it deters me from overeating. God Bless, Joe

I love my coffee too. I hate decaf with a passion but I started out subbing half decaf and half Columbian and I was surprised to find I didn't totally hate it. I am used to it now, but when I go out for dinner with friends, a REAL coffee is now the absolute best dessert I can have and I look forward to it more than any sweet.LOL

i also drink a "grande" a day.. and it doesn't affect my weight loss. i drink americanos however, not regular coffee.. i doubt there is any difference.
i find that it actually curbs any cravings that might come about, and also helps me from getting snacky.

          Quick caffeine story.......

I was a hard core caffeine consumer. 2-4 cups of coffee every morning and a few diet sodas with caffeine every day. The idea of not consuming caffeine to me was like someone telling me to quit breathing.

I ended up having big time stomach problems from caffeine. Not just an upset tummy here or there but blinding waves of nausea that would be so bad I would need to leave work. The doctor gave me some very strong acid reducers and told me to get off caffeine. I went through 2 1/2 weeks of horrible caffeine withdrawal symptoms but now I feel greet, sleep very well, can exercise longer and I do fine every morning without a drop of caffeine which before I would have said was friggin' impossible.
