  • Tips for Success with Extended Induction?

Hi, everyone! I just finished my first two-week Induction and I'm down 11 pounds! I'm thinking about staying on extended induction as I have another 90 or so pounds to lose and was wondering if anyone here had any advice. Thanks in advance!

You cannot make a real commitment unless you accept that it's a choice that you keep making again and again and again.

Mkae sure you are taking advantage of the wide variety of veggies and meats available to you so you dont get "bored" with what you are eating. That was what my husband was worried about. We tend to take the things we can have, look at what we can "create" and come up with some great tasting dishes! Even Im amazed at the different veggies I have been eating since I was always a corn, green bean and salad only type of gal. The variety keeps you interested.
Also, dont get into the thinking that "well, Im past my 2 weeks, so this one little non induction legal food wont hurt". If you are doing extended induction, it is still induction..so follow the rules

        Good advice, Clara

My advice would be to keep checking the 4 questions in chapter 13 that will help you decide when to move on to OWL, and as soon as you start to feel deprived by the limited food choices move on up the carbohydrate ladder.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
