  • My weekly 'silly' question

    Hi everyone.

Saw some peach tea (decaff) in the supermarket today. It said in the ingredients that it had "peach aroma" (translated from Italian). Of course whatever gives the tea the aroma doesn't have carbs in...does it? Er... could it? And the aroma wouldn't count as fruit, surely!?

Can someone please reassure me that I'm not seeing carbs everywhere!!?? :sadblinky

Oh... and splenda. Can't get that here (Italy), but see lots of recipes on the board using 'one packet of splenda'. Is one packet equivalent to one teaspoon of sugar, or thereabouts? If I know, I can use a saccharin sugar substitue that I can get here.

    Thanks all
    Sal

I presume Splenda is the same - but I know that Sugar Twin packets are the equivalent of two teaspoons of sugar, so I guess that's standard.

I would read the label on the tea and if it didn't list any carbs it 'probably' is ok.
