  • feeling sick!!

I am on day 5 of induction.. I have followed all the rules and not cheated once, also been exercising. However, I have been feeling so sleepless and nauseous. This morning I had no appeite, made myself eat some bacon and eggs and threw up! Has anyone else experienced feeling this sick..not hungry at all?

    Re: feeling sick!!

i'm pretty sure (correct me if i'm wrong please!!) but your body is in detox.
sort of like when someone is coming off a mega caffeine addiction, where you can feel nausea, migraines, restlessness etc.. you are detoxing from food/everything else you have been putting in your body.
it goes away from what i've read, my guy is going thru the exact same thing.

Might be going through no sugar withdrawals or something. Be strong and work through it. If you want to succeed, you will. If not, then you wont. God Bless,Joe

You are experiencing induction flu. It happens to the best of us. Stay strong and stick with it. I promise it's only temporary and once it passes you will feel better than ever. Keep drinking that water too!

          Re: feeling sick!!

I get sick too going through the detox. I feel like crap but I jsut try and tell myself that it's a HUGE sign of how screwed up my food habits are - you'll feel so much better on the other end. i am realizing now how sensative I am to food and learning to eat to live! (not living to eat) I am really starting to see food as fuel and how the "quality" effects my body.

Sorry you're ill - but it's a sign that you need to do this!

          Hugs,

            Re: feeling sick!!

I agree with momma. I had a terrible case on induction flu on about the 3rd day. My joints ached, my head throbbed and no energy. I laid around all day. It gets
soo much better. You will have this new found energy and feel like you can rule the
            world.
