  • Is it possible...

    That someones CCL is 20 carbs?

    The reason I ask is this. Most days I only get 13-15 carbs. Im never at 20. Well, this past week, since I have been home more, Ive been able to get right up there at 19-20 carbs a day. Well, needless to say...it's Monday (my weigh in day) and I didn't lose anything. Im fine with the not losing as I know some weeks I wont. But, I did gain a pound! I know that is possible too, but just wondering if this could be it. I've not added anything new to my diet, so I don't think that could be the culprit. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

    Probably PISS (Post induction Stall syndrome). Some people just see a pause at the end of induction and there is no fault anywhere except the body is just thinking it over. Just keep going, you will start losing again.

    But theoretically it is possible to have a low CCLL

      I have the same problem. Week three I lsot NOTHING, Week 4 I lost 4 pounds, week 5 NOTHING - it's driving me nutty. I am going o trya nd eat more this week. I ahve to really work to eat 20 net carbs!

        You dont actually 'have' to eat 20 net carbs - it is a maximum for induction.

        You just need to know what your average net carbs on induction was so you can add 5 net carbs to that number once you start on OWL rung 1.

        BTW one way of getting closer to the 20 net is not to eat much lettuce but choose higher-carb 'salad veg' like peppers instead.

          Thanks everyone!

          Ellie, I dont really ever eat salads and lettuce anymore. My carbs come from peppers, brocolli, cauliflower, and cucumbers usually. Peppers are such a versitial veggeis I love them!!!

          I think I will stick with my 15 carbs. I was satisfied and felt great with that amount and they were pretty much all veggies except 1 or 2
