Oh my gosh, I can't believe it! After being stuck at a 7 pound weight loss for over a week, I was so excited to get on the scale today and see that I dropped 3 pounds! I am beyond ecstatic! Finally, I feel as if I am getting somewhere!

Re: I had a whoosh!
Thanks everyone! I have been eating broccoli and have kept my diet pretty much the same. I have no clue as to what has changed to make me lose the 3 pounds--but I am thrilled. I hope it continuessigpicKaren

Can we share the Woosh fairy Liv? Last week was TOM for me, and i didn't lose an ounce... at least I didn't gain though... Normally (which isn't often because I have PCOS) I gain a lb or 2 during TOM.... I am so glad I didn't gain or lose even 1 oz this time!!!! But I'd LOVE a woosh to take me fwd!

Re: I had a whoosh!
Great going, Karen
As I have said before here - time to move to OWL and start the great scientific experiment of finding your CCLL and any problem/trigger foods now?!?Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: I had a whoosh!
Elizellen--do you think I should really get out of induction and go to the next level? I seem to have such a tough time losing that I was thinking I should stay on this a bit longer. I don't know that I have any trigger foods--I am really strict with the program and try to eat the right amount of veggies. I am afraid if I go to the owl that I might take even longer to get some weight off. But you have more experience than I--what do you think I should do?

Re: I had a whoosh!
To paraphrase what one of our members used to say 'no-one ever got fat from eating an extra 5 net carbs of induction vegetables'!! I would suggest moving to rung one of OWL and adding those to see how your body copes with the addition.
Dr Atkins did want us to have reached the premaintenance phase of Atkins when we still have a few pounds to lose, and moving up the OWL ladder will be easier to do if you still have a fair amount of weight to lose as when you are close to goal weight the losses are not so obvious.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: I had a whoosh!
Ok, that sounds plausible--this must mean then, that I might get to have raspberries?
