    HELLO ALL:

    POOH HERE CHECKING IN AGAIN, AS MOST OF YOU KNOW I HAVE BEEN A BOARD MEMBER FOR WELL OVER A YEAR. TO REFRESH AND EXPLAIN TO THE NEW MEMBERS A BREIEF HISTORY.:

    I BEGAN ATKINS ON JAN 1, 2004 AT OVER 300 LBS, I HAVE LOST ALMOST 130 LBS. I WALK LITERALLY EVERYDAY AND LIFT WEIGHTS 6 NIGHTS A WEEK. I AM NOW A TRIM, TAN AND MUSCULAR 185 LBS. I AM DOING GREAT. I HAVE TAKEN HEALTH AND BODY BUILDING SO SERIUSLY THAT I WAS JUST FEATURED ON LOCAL TELEVSION HERE IN ST. LOUIS, ON GETTING IN SHAPE.

    I HAVE LOST A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF WEIGHT AND WAS BLESSED TO TURN SO MUCH INTO MUSCLE.
    OVER THE THE LAST YEAR I HAVE RECEIVED DOZENS OF E-MAILS AND SUPPORT. PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW JOW I DID IT. HARD WORK AND DETERMINATION AND NEVER QUIT.

    I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP ANYONE OR ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THAT I CAN ON MY EXPERIENCE AND MY METHOD.

    ANYWAY HERE IS A PIC WHEN I STARTED ON JAN 1, 2004 AND MARCH 2, 2005.

    GOOD LUCK IF I CAN DO IT ANYONE CAN.

    Everytime I see a post from you or see your picture, I know Atkins works. You are truly inspirational to everyone. Thank you for being available to us and give us support. You look amazing.

    I'm starting bootcamp this next coming week and can't wait to see what i'm capable of when I follow the plan to a T.

    Keep up the great work. You can always move out here to Vegas and work for Chippendales. Just kidding.

          wow, you before and after pics are amazing! I've been doing this Woe since January 19th this year and have lost close to 25 pounds already. 60 some-odd left to go! I find I'm having to exercise my skills in self-discipline just as my as exercising at the gym! the last couple weeks have been more difficult than usual as i had to go out of town and stay with people who tried to stuff me full of food (they are Ukranian) *and* are less than thrilled with the Atkins concept. so that was a taxing experience and i stalled over the weekend, but dropped three pounds by this morning so things are getting back to normal. i'm certainly learning where my comfort zones are with respect to routine and eating are concerned. Thankfully each new experience is making it easier to keep on-track afterwards.

              Holy moly, you look amazing. Seeing this has helped me realize that I really CAN do it. I am starting boot camp so hopefully that will help my stall. Could you tell me what a daily menu is for you? I am trying to incorporate more exercise into my daily routine, hopefully that will help as well. Also, how did you cope with stalls/temptation? I appreciate any info you can give me.

                I NEVER CHEATED, I STUCK TO IT, TO THE LETTER. TEMTATION IS NATURAL, EXERCISE HELPS.

                ODDLY ENOUGH I NEVER STALLED, I WAS SO BIG THAT ONCE I STARTED THE DIET AND THE EXERCISE THE WEIGHT HAD NO WHERE TO GO BUT FALL OFF.

                MO ITS ALL ABOUT CONTINUING TO EXERCISE, DRINKING WATER, AND MAINTAINING HEALTHY EATING. HOWEVER, WHEN I DO EAT "REGULAR FOOD" ITS ALL ABOUT PORTION SIZE.

                AN EXAMPLE IF SOMEONE ORDERS A PIZZA, INSTEAD OF EATING 5 PIECES EAT 1-2 PIECES AND BE DONE, THE DIET IS DESIGNED TO HELP YOU.
