hi guys. i am very disappointed in atkins so far. or how i am doing with it. i started induction and didn't buy the book so i was doing it all wrong for 1week. i ate nuts and too many carbs. so then i bought the book and last week i did everything right. i even worked out everyday! strength training and cardio.
so why am i not losing weight? i had lost 4lbs by weds. but then gained a couple ounces the last two days in a row! wtf?! i know it is slow and steady wins the race but when you dramatically change what you are eating and start working out shouldn't you lose alot in the beginning, like biggest loser?
also, my stomach has been upset. i feel bloated and gasy all the time. i'm thinking maybe the fat isn't doing the right thing with me. maybe i can do no carbs and low fat?

) It is too soon for you to think it is not working. I've been doing this straight for 2 months now. During the first week of induction I dropped about 6 pounds, then barely anything the next week....and then I started thinking it wasn't working. I stopped weighing myself so that I wouldn't get discouraged, but the whole time I was thinking I wasn't losing anything. Well it's my 2 month anniversary today actually and somewhere along the lines I lost an additional 12 pounds, down 2 dress sizes.
