  • Glad Microwave Steaming Bags!

Is anyone else using these bags? I love them and use them almost everyday, i don't like salads but i prefer steamed veggie and i can eat them all week.
I even got some Zucchini from someone and they came out yummy with the steaming bags. I use just a little butter which i drop into every bag when packing them Sunday night and a pinch of salt.

For meat i alternate daily, but these bags or timesavers and they are safe, all you need is 2 minutes on the microwave.

I use the Ziploc ones, but they work the same. They are totally awesome!

I've never used any of the steamer bags before. I'll look into them all at the store. Thanks for the idea!

I saw the commercials for these but they skipped my mind. Thanks for the reminder, I am totally going to grab some of these and give them a try.

I have a couple of coupons for the Ziploc ones and thought I would give the bags a try. Thanks for the idea.

A month or so ago, I bought a double-stacked steamer for my vegetables. It works great and is easy to clean up. I've been using it for quickly steamed broccoli, cauliflower, etc. at home. But, the bags would be a more convenient alternative for work.

Sounds like something to look into. Don't they explode in the microwave? Or do they have some sort of vent?
